Agriculture, Food and Horticulture are key sectors throughout in wold, accounting for a substantial share of the region’s GDP and employing an important part of the workforce. With the increasing populations, climate change, rising level of urbanisation and workforce challenges due to rural depopulation in most of the countries, there is an urgent need for innovative solutions for the agriculture sector.

Currently, the agriculture sector is undergoing digital transformation with huge potential to producers and the consumers. Introduction of digital agriculture, industrialisation and mechanisation of production processes, connectivity and data management are now set to unleash the next revolution in the history of agriculture and farming. Utilising smart Information Technologies, Smart Drones, Machine Learning and other advanced technologies and crucially networking these assets enables more efficient use of resources, results in higher yield and production, increase efficiency and productivity and answers to the new environment.

This conference is set to provide an interactive platform to discuss the opportunities offered by disruptive digital technologies to increase productivity, and access to services and markets in the agricultural sector. This will be an unparalleled meeting place for decision-makers, plantation and farms managers, digital leaders, and other business professionals to share knowledge and experience in optimising the agricultural farming process in the age of technology.

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus worldwide has resulted in many countries implementing measures to slow the transmission of the virus, including travel restrictions, school and business closures and even closed borders. The COVID-19 global health pandemic is rapidly changing the ways we live and work.

Given that the evolution of the virus is still uncertain, and the situation may improve in some places while it gets worse in others, Sciences Academy Executive Committee decided to hold virtual conferences this year on various topics for the presentation of scientific researches.

While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, our top priority is the health and safety of you researchers, our customers, partners and employees.

The success of our virtual conference will depend on all of us working together and creating a common space – and purpose – as we build a dynamic, interactive, and inclusive conference.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and restrictions for in-person events, we are going 100% virtual. Sciences Academy will come to you as a fully online event this summer. We believe this is the right decision for our community.

The aim of the e-Conference is to bring together scholars, researchers, administrators and students from different countries and to discuss theoretical and practical issues in different areas of Engineering Sciences. The e-Conference will be organized as a multi-disciplinary forum which will provide the appropriate opportunities for interdisciplinary communications.

The e-Conference will be organized exclusively as an online conference, and the English is the only language of the conference.

Sessions will take place from remote locations via our web-streamed conference stage. Registered attendees will log in to the Conference organisation committee webstream to view sessions, participate in Q&A with speakers, engage with each other, and meet with exhibitors.

Our robust online exhibit floor experience will allow exhibitors to demo their products, share videos and downloadable documents and hold face-to-face and group meetings with attendees.

All papers accepted by the Scientific Committee are published as Conference Proceedings, in the form of e-Book in pdf file exposed at the Sciences Academy website, or are published in the Open Journals (based on author's decision) of Sciences Academy . The Conference Proceedings have ISBN and DOI, and are submitted for indexing by the Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), and to the other relevant international databases.
